Private consulting and editing sessions with Wendy Goldman Rohm also available. Rohm is acting as a sub-agent for Sterling Lord Literistic, New York, one of the top literary agencies in the world, helping her most promising students to get signed with a literary agent who will represent their work to the best publishers.
For those new to the class, the introductory intensive focuses on : how to write and structure nonfiction books; how to get an agent; writing book
proposals that sell; and creating a final book proposal
for submission to publishers. Rohm's students have been successful in a number of genres, including memoirs, poetry, self help books, historical nonfiction, and drama. Via the workshop, students also have successfully adapted their work for the stage.
The Master's Tea will be hosting later this year a writing sabbatical abroad. The participating group of writers will spend 8 days in a serene environment without distraction, focusing on their writing and interacting with other authors.
